First thoughts

Great, have done the reading last night, and found the site (and bookmarked it). So now all set to go. The reading material was OK -- clear enough. I had to take a couple of goes at the sequence of workshops and what they might be for, but have decided to surrender myself to the process. Now I'm going to spend a bit of time on the ALE site.
